By having a companion along the way

Why Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual Direction is about a soul friend walking alongside another and helping them see where Jesus is speaking into their lives. Drawing our attention to where the Holy Spirit is already present.

Where do you need healing? Wholeness? Awareness?

Spiritual direction can help in Finding the Way.

"We need someone who helps us distinguish between the voice of God and all the other voices coming from our own confusion or from dark powers far beyond our control. We need someone who encourages us when we are tempted to give it all up, to forget it all, and to just walk away in despair.
We need someone who cautions us when we move too rashly in unclear directions or hurry proudly toward a nebulous goal. We need someone who can suggest to us when to read and when to be silent, which words to reflect upon, and what to do when silence creates much fear and little peace."                     Henri Nouwen, Spiritual Direction

“What exactly do spiritual directors do? The simple and most direct answer I can give is that they help others attend to God’s presence and revelation and prepare to respond to him. In other words, they help people attune themselves to God.”

David Benner, Sacred Companions

What can I expect?

How long is a session ?

    - A Spiritual Direction session typically lasts about 1 hour.

What happens in a session?

-It begins and ends with prayer. My job is to listen deeply, to invite you into different practices and  help you see where the the Divine is speaking.

Are they in-person or video conference?

    - They can be either in-person or over zoom conference. The Booking page will automatically book you a Zoom appointment. So if you want in person you will need to specify that preference or send me a message in the "let's chat" below.

"Having a spiritual director is like going on this walk with a guide, someone who is able to point out important landmarks or native flowers I would not have noticed or appreciated in the same way."
